1. Kitty Kat Blues Infused Pale Ale.
Local Black Raven Brewery in Redmond, WA took an unassuming pale ale and turned the screws a bit with additions of dried blueberries, vanilla bean and organic mountain-grown catnip. YES cat nip! The result is a yummy easy drinking pale ale that finishes like this morning's blueberry muffin. Be sure to hide the cats, they might steal it.
2. Suiyoubi No Neko
Yo-Ho Brewery in Nagano, Japan is responsible for this smooth belgian wheat with hints of banana and citrus, Suiyoubi No Neko is simple and refreshing. Fruity and unfiltered this brew is light and well-executed. Suiyoubi No Neko means Wednesday Cat in Japanese! Looks like Wednesday just got a whole lot better.
3. Alley Cat Amber
From Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, CA, this is a full-flavored amber ale made with roasted caramel malt. Richly colored and medium-bodied, Alleycat is a sure win for any amber lover.
4. Wildcat IPA
Just down the road from Seattle in Snoqualmie, WA is Snoqualmie Brewery. They have taken school spirit to a new level by naming this beer after their high school football team. Wildcat has big, bold hop flavors from 100 percent Yakima-grown Columbus hops and is a well balanced IPA. Go Wildcats!
5. Hurricane Kitty IPA
Keegan Ales in Kingston, NY is responsible for this coppery and heavily hopped India Pale Ale. Named after the brewmaster Keegan's Grandmother who's driving earned her quite a reputation. They tried to make this hopped as aggressively as her driving record.
